Chapter event volunteers provide support at meetings or events to help with registration, distributing materials, setting up rooms or greeting attendees. You can earn professional development or recertification credits by volunteering.
Chapter Volunteer (non-board role) - Participates in special chapter projects on a short-term basis, based on the needs of the chapter, and the interests of the participant. May participate as a committee member or provide support at events or meetings.
All positions require active SHRM membership, and IE SHRM chapter designation. In addition, some positions may require that applicants are active human resource practitioners, with certain levels of HR experience due to the nature of the responsibilities.
