Q: As a SHRM member, am I automatically a member of a local chapter?

A: No. SHRM membership is separate from membership in your local chapter. Each chapter has its own membership application process. To become a member of your local chapter, you will need to apply for membership directly with that particular chapter.

 Q: How do I join Inland Empire SHRM?

A: Just complete the IE SHRM Membership Form below, designating IE SHRM as your primary chapter.

Q: Do I have to pay dues to be a member of Inland Empire SHRM?

A: No, IE SHRM members pay no dues with current SHRM membership.  You only pay the member rate for events you attend.

Q: Does my IE SHRM membership automatically renew each year?

A: No, you will need to renew your primary designation with IE SHRM whenever you renew your SHRM membership.

Q: Can I belong to more than one SHRM chapter?

A: Yes. You can belong to as many chapters as you desire, but one will be considered your “primary chapter” and will receive financial support from SHRM.
