As companies develop succession plans for their organization, affiliated SHRM chapters must also plan for the future. Due to the changes in the economy and the Southern California job market, many new graduates and young professionals interested in the HR field find it difficult to secure a position in this area. This is why it is important for the HR seasoned professionals to partner with the incoming “Emerging HR Professionals.”
Our objective is to build and strengthen relationships with emerging HR professionals, because they add a variety of ideas which bring new perspectives to today’s HR issues. We want to establish a mentoring program that will partner them with seasoned HR professionals to guide them as they grow in their career.
If you are a seasoned HR professional, or an emerging HR professional and are interested in being a part of our group, IE SHRM Emerging Human Resources Professionals, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
